How much coffee are you consuming per day?

I'm trying to get my cup count down to 2 but hard and I have 3 a day, 4 if its a boring afternoon at work!

First coffee will be at 6am when I wake up.

I drink Doewe Egbert's instant.

About 3 if at home, 5 if working. There will always be studies saying something is good for you, then a year later one saying it is actually bad for you, best to just have what you want.

Probably 3 at max on a working day, one when I first get in and one more at most during the day.

I drink a coffee on an evening but that’s always decaf.

If I’m not at work then 1-2 a day.

I can't start the day with coffee. It's always been tea. But if I'm somewhere that doesn't do tea - Caribbean for instance, I will drink coffee. But as soon as I'm up, it's Gold Blend or Alta Rica. I'm not a coffee snob, as long as it's not weak, it's fine. If I'm on the road, Maccies coffee is decent for £1.39. Greggs is OK. Not a fan of Costa or Starbucks, tastes 'burnt'.

About three or four cups of a morning. Then bizarrely, after lunch it has to be tea again. Don't usually drink either after dinner unless I'm out for a meal, and then it's coffee.

I think it affects different people differently.

I was on one six-cup Moka pot coffee each morning until I realised that my travel anxiety when I had to leave the house was mostly caffeine overload. Hot chocolate now - enough caffeine to get things going, not enough to set brain off.

I have two in the mornings, strong black filter cone ones. Three risks a headache. Never any in the afternoon as I find myself lying in bed wondering why I am not asleep.

I just get the shakes if I have too much coffee/caffeine.

I did buy a Red Bull the other day (the apricot orange can) because I was feeling a bit dozy. I was wary, because they used to be horrible and sweet overload. It was actually quite refreshing. But as my son pointed out, probably the equivalent of three coffees.

Bit of a coffee addict, so up to 9 or 10 a day, never effects sleep, I have the gene that process caffeine well according to a gene test I took a few years ago.

My wife at one time was drinking 12 + cups of fresh coffee (cafetière) a day. Caffeine seemed to have no effect on her, but is suspect that’s because she was probably so dosed up! I was having 4-5 day. I was really worried about the amounts we were drinking and now she’s down to 2-3 ish and I try to keep to one cup first thing, maybe a second if my day feels a little stressful and I need a little comfort.

If we drink coffee after midday it’s always decaf. We usually drink 6-7 odd cups of hot water a day too as we realised it was difficult to drink any water with so much tea/ coffee consumption.

Impossible to say if we feel better or worse from just reducing coffee.

4 or 5 but home brewed rather than shop bought or instant. I find I use far less than a shop does so the amount of caffeine is probably equivalent to 2 shop bought.

Caffeine doesn’t seem to affect me unless I get into double figures. I was diagnosed with ADD several years ago which explains it. Not particularly bothered about if it’s healthy as I enjoy it.

Haven’t had a cup in over a month due to gall bladder removal. Currently sat having a flat white, hoping my guts aren’t at code red shortly.

Whilst I don't drink a huge amount, it has little effect on me. I can have a coffee before bed ans sleep like a log.

Only started drinking coffee once I had a kid.

Start the day with a tea (milk no sugar). 3-4 coffees in the day to follow. Latest I'll have one is 2pm. No decaf.

Melitta Bean-to-Cup and it's 2 cups Mon, Wed, Fri and 3 cups Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun. I'm at the gym on 3 days at morning coffee time so only get 2 in on those days. Buy my coffee from The Coffee Bean Shop, mainly single origin beans.

3 per day; one first thing, mid morning and after lunch.

Double espresso (18g basket), espresso blend beans from local roasters.

Probably the same on weekends, may have one early evening.

No issue with sleep.

B2C. Consumption has gone up but I don't keep count. Maybe 5. Mostly flat white with almond milk.
