Hi all

I want to get a running machine but haven't got room for a large one really, so my wife suggested a flat one that can be stored under the sofa.

I'm a gentle jogger but 15st hence the jogging.

Anyone got or used one? Any thoughts?

We have a treadmill in a small gym at work, I have tried it. All I can say is treadmills are incredibly boring, so I hope your motivation is good, but personally I would rather run in the cold and rain.

Consider folding as well as flat

The missus got into running during lockdown so she did a fair bit of research on running machines

Surprisingly (or maybe not) our local branch of Fitness Superstore was staffed by people who really knew their stuff - good prices too

Even a flat one will be 6in high, so check the measurements of the item vs intended storage area

If you are a big lad check the width of the belt too, a lot of the flat ones are quite narrow
