I do some spin classes and would like to get my heart rate displayed on my phone, can't stand chest straps so they are out of the question?

apple watch does this, but it's hidden away, you have to start an indoor cycling workout and then click a pop up on your lock screen

wouldn't be surprised if it's an oversight they remove it, ,as it's not possible any other way, via any other workout, almost like they want to save this feature purely for fitness plus workouts

Garmin connect will also do this, with an appropriate watch, but you'd need to set the phone screen to stay on all the time:

But once you have the watch why do you want to display it live on your phone?

You can get heart rate monitors that go on your arm - such as

https://uk.wahoofitness.com/devices/heart-rate-mon...

There are cheaper ones on Amazon.

This works on my garmin watch and phone. I have also customised one of the displays on the watch to show heart rate as the main data field, makes it easy to see at a glance and no need to look at the phone,

Fitbit Versa 4 does, also displays on the watch face if you configure it to do so.

If you want to train at a steady heart rate it can be quite useful.

Found this as i work around to mt ‘mirror watch’ feature missing, no matter what settings i changed, software updates etc, the mirroring feature is not there, it is on my wifes iphone 15 but not on my 14pro, maybe its there on yours?

Found in accessibility setting on iphone..
