Rheumatoid arthritis
Discussion
Mrs.Chips is a fellow sufferer. She was diagnosed about 6 years ago. They tried a variety of different medications, all with limited success. Finally, they prescribed Methatrexate (apologies for dodgy spelling) which she self injects, once a week. If you are prescribed this be aware that it will take a while to get the correct dosage. Initially, Mrs.Chips was on a higher dose than she is now, but kept getting chest infections as a result. Once they reduced the dosage, the chest infections stopped and the arthritis settled down. Bear in mind, this is not a cure. It reduces the symptoms, but doesn’t stop occasional flare ups.
Good luck.
Good luck.
