I recall toothpaste back in the olden days (not that long ago) being very minty and fresh, but I've noticed in the last few years that's changed and the ones I've tried are lacking in that minty taste and fresh feeling.

I've used Colgate for years which is where I've noticed the problem so I think I'm looking for another brand. Something really minty and fresh. Makes the mouth tingle a bit?

Try Marvis strong mint toothpaste.

It's expensive though

I haven’t tried this for years but it used to be real ‘blow your head off’ strong - Euthymol

Euthymol isn't minty, though, it smells like germolene.

Gibbs SR was the one back in the day - it was so strong I hated the stuff as a child but would love it now.

Sadly I don't think it's available anymore.

Arm & Hammer Coolmint was the best i ever used, exactly as described, if anyone knows who stocks it i'd be obliged for the info, i have a really bad gag reflex and this was one of the best for me.

Currently using Oral-B Cavity Protect Mint, not quite as pleasant as the arm & hammer but as close to that as i've found to date.

Try these.
They might even be the same.
