Multifocal contact lenses

Went to Specsavers today and was recommended to try multifocals.

Wore them for about six hours, then one was starting to get tired so I went to take it out. I couldn't!

I've worn contacts for decades and never had a problem taking them out, but these seemed to be stuck on. Quite worrying, but I got them out eventually after about 10 minutes and many attempts. I'm in no hurry to try them again tomorrow.

Is this a known issue with multifocals?
