Developing concern for someone I witnessed suffer sudden and repeated sharp pains between eye socket and forehead on right side, having to close eyes, put hand there and saying "ARRrrrrrr" in clear pain as occurred for a second or two before seeming to go away.

She appeared to explain it's not a migraine and worryingly that it seems to come on, sort of go/swirl behind eyes and shoot off and be gone.

She's early 20's, in good fitness, didn't appear to have drunk anything recently, didn't get confused, slur speech or lose consciousness and after a bout of this occurring somewhat frequently for at least 25 mins took some pain meds and it appeared to stop being as bad after 20 mins or less and left later with friends appearing fine.

Having had a family member describe similar six months before a brain bleed with stoke, unconsciousness, ambulance, operation and good recovery it concerned me to see her appearing to suffer, then describe something so similar.

Didn't ask how long it's gone on for at the time sadly.

Serious sign or just me?

Sounds serious enough to pass on your concerns to your friend and urge her to go to A&E and get checked out.

Indeed, nearly my words exactly, was over video call as she's being scouted for a position in a venture. I seem more concerned than she appears to be tbh.

As a fit young man on 10th January 1997 i suffered a haemorrhage - it started 4 days before falling into a coma whilst at the gym.

It sounds like early symptoms are potentially being seen so visiting a medical professional and getting a scan could help confirm if something serious is imminent
