The beauty of gym clothes is you can wear anything as long as it's comfortable.
I was wearing old t-shirts and trackie bottoms/shorts that I've had for years.
No reason to go full kit wker spending £££
Get yourself down to Sports Direct and you could probably pick up some branded t-shirts/vests, shorts and bottoms for about £40-50 all in.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get some decent gym stuff? I need some shorts and t-shirts. Downside is I need XXXL maybe XXL which seems to be a struggle. I looked at Gym Shark but fk me they are expensive!
I didn't find Gymshark very expensive, but their stuff was cheaply made and didn't last.My current gear came from Uniqlo and is altogether better made.
For cheap,
A casual observation, though. is that it has been a long time since any of the main sportswear brands has made anything of a quality I am interested in. It is mostly tat.
Gymshark often have pretty decent sales on. Their stuff tends to fit better too. I will say the quality isn’t quite as good as it used to be.
TK max have a fitness section but it can be hit and miss.
If you want to go cheap the primark range is alright and will last long enough. The “fit” though doesn’t tend to be very flattering.

They are closing down the EU shop which is why it’s cheap.
Decent quality though

Thanks all! Probably should have added I am looking for stuff that will last a bit. At least until its too big for me!
I'll check out the above places. Although Primark sizing makes me depressed...XXL is like a tank top on me...XXL from Tesco is perfect!
Problem is, if you are regularly going and smashing it, so getting proper sweaty etc and having a good workout, it tends not to last, no matter the quality, no matter how often it's all washed, after not too long a while you never totally get rid of that sweat smell, plus generally from working out, the clothes just wear out, whether super expensive or cheap, also you will likely drop a fair amount of weight relatively quickly, hence you will need to buy new stuff soon ish, why spend big bucks on stuff you are going to have to replace.I'll check out the above places. One piece of advice though, if you are a sweater, as I am, get wicking tops, not cotton, cotton will just soak up the sweat, will look awful and feel awful when working out, plus they will last even less time than a wicking top.

I have cycling and running stuff from Decathlon that's 15 years old, been used 000's of times (cycled to work for 10 years) and still going strong. I'll check out the above places. Although Primark sizing makes me depressed...XXL is like a tank top on me...XXL from Tesco is perfect!

Good grief the replies ITT - get something with some style that makes you feel good about yourself. You'll perform better.
Lacoste, Asics, some of the Nike or Adidas stuff for example.
Why would clothes make you perform better? Unless you're an elite athlete Lacoste, Asics, some of the Nike or Adidas stuff for example.
Granted, you shouldn't wear your old decorating cotton t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms but when it comes to brands, there's really not much in it.
Buy something that is moisture-wicking and comfortable for you. Some people swear by Nike, for example, but I always find the clothing chafes like nobody's business.
I find you can't go wrong with Under Armour, but shop around for different brands. Amazon has good deals, as does TK Maxx.
