Hi For the last few years I've used a firm to reglaze my glasses.

I have a large bonce and find it difficult to get frames that fit, so I order these separately and send them off for lens.

This time I wanted Progressive type lens in my main glasses (these are drive smart), a pair of occupational glasses for screen use and a progressive type pair for kayaking with a tint and polarised.

Ordered in January, so far each set have been very inconsistent and do not even feel remotely similar.

All sent back for remaking in April / May time.

2nd set, equally as bad and the focus points are wrong. The occupational lens put me in hospital with a suspected TIA which turned out to be a mega migraine of which I've suddenly started suffering with these. This was July.

Off they go again for remaking with a revised prescription after a further test.

This time the occupational ones still don't feel quite right and have to sit close to the screen but they kinda work, and the 'kayaking' pair which are oakley XL frames, are now cracked around the lower part of the frame in multiple places.

I haven't yet returned the main pair, which I changed the lens back to my original 2022 ones!

Now because of this and the poor comparability (and 9 months have now passed) I've asked for a refund. My eyes are changing quicker than they are providing glasses!!!!

They are saying they'll provide a new frame but I've lost confidence. I can't send my main pair as they as used for driving and darker nights mean I can't use the tinted oakley.

Any idea what rights do I have after all this time? I'm thinking about asking the card firm to charge back, but feel they should refund me and I'll go to a local optician.
thank you

Maybe something is telling you that single vison lenses from the internet are fine but for anything more complex you'd be better off going to see somone who actually measures your eyes & your face?

well I've used them before for progressives and transitions even in the same frame, but this time they've gone really downhill!

Life is complicated enough, just put it behind you and go to a local optician.
