Natural bodycare and house cleaning products
Discussion
We have had a clear out this week.
I went do see an old friend of my mothers, a very clever well published medical professional. He was talking about carcinogens etc in stuff like deodorant, shampoo, kitchen surface cleaners etc. I was horrified. He was telling me how much of this stuff was approved when accepted science thought the skin was a barrier which we now know to be untrue - nicotine patches etc It's awful when you start looking at it - I might be preaching to the converted but the stuff we put on our skin and clean surfaces we eat off with is awful.
So a big bag of stuff to the tip and a new friend made in a little local shop that sells natural non toxic products.

Have you found a deodorant that actually works as well as conventional roll on?
I use Fussy. There's a few others from WeAreWild and Smol that are similar. Not sure how they compare price wise to a can of regular stuff but justify it by reducing my single use products and doing my bit for the planet (plus, to hell Unilever, proctor and gamble etc)I sweat alot and do manual work and have had zero complaints from anyone so assuming (hoping!) they work. To be honest work colleagues with their broken English probably won't tell me I'm a smelly bd, but the lads certainly would and there has been nothing yet.
