I’m doing it at the moment - I did the tests about 3 weeks ago and got the results last week.
Turns out I have excellent blood sugar control but poor blood fat control. I’ve been following the ‘diet’ for about a week and have lost a decent chunk of weight without feeling remotely hungry - it’s got me to swap out a few things and add more fibre. I thought I had a pretty good diet anyway but this has improved it a lot.
It’s not cheap and following the diet certainly isn’t, but worthwhile for me so far. I think it will be easy to stick to and change habits around so I won’t need to keep paying indefinitely.
ETA you only do the monitor for a few days - then optionally for another week or so.

Has anyone got one?
A lot of the Gen Z’s in my office swear by them for their diet health.
(Obvs the app / monitor, not the Renault )
A couple of friends have done it this summer. I am T1D so I am used to the Libre blood glucose sensor, which for a diabetic is fantastic. A lot of the Gen Z’s in my office swear by them for their diet health.

My gut feeling is it tells you the bleeding obvious and a little common sense would go quite far. Guess what, my mate had a huge chocolate muffin, dosed with tablespoons of chocolate butter scotch and his blood sugar rose a couple of points then dipped down again.
I think it is a passing fad packaged and sold by a few celebs rather than game changer for your revealing secrets about your health. You can buy the sensors here

I am curious about the glucose monitors but know nothing about them. In the last 10 years I’ve noticed more fatigue, lethargy, on occasion it’s almost floored me.
I’m starting to wonder whether my body reacts to something I eat. I’ve been tested for everything, and I mean everything, from T levels to liver function and everything in between, but tests always come back ok. Even for diabetes.
I’ve also had the food tolerance and allergy testing, which threw up the usual suspects (wheat and diary), two things that I’ve recently cut back on. But some things like white rice can floor me - like I need to sit down before I pass out!
Only thing my bloods have consistently thrown up is relatively high triglycerides. Not high enough for the doctors to act on, just something I need to keep an eye on.
Trying to get more sleep, cut back on booze and do more exercise. Although this summer has seen me fail on all fronts

Sounds like getting old!! you have had many tests from Zoe already done by the sounds of it. I’m starting to wonder whether my body reacts to something I eat. You could order the glucose monitors without a prescription. Once installed (which is painless) they will last two weeks - that is the time to experiment with different food stuffs and times of eating.

I think that’s a very simplistic view and not what it’s really aimed at - the food combinations are interesting and I’d never have guessed those even with a reasonable degree of common sense and dietary knowledge. If you just assume it’s to tell you Mars bars are bad for blood sugar, then you’re not using even 20% of what it’s for, IMO.
Each to their own though - it’s not cheap at all and if you need to make major changes then it’s probably not needed as they are indeed obvious, but I wanted to tweak what I thought was a health diet and it seems to be doing the trick.
I'm in the middle of doing it and am enjoying it. The blood sugar threw up some surprises for me but that is only part of the approach. I think as a science led bespoke diet plan it's as good as it gets.
The food recommendations based on your actual requirements (blood sugar, blood fat, gut health) is very good and useful.

Any particular ones you would recommend, moreso for ease and understanding of what the data means.

One friend (on Zoe) has just written to me about constant low blood sugars during the night and thought she was T2D. Not sure what advice/ support she is getting from Zoe....but T2D is completely wrong....
