They should give you a.sedative I would think which should calm you.

I’ve had an ablation for flutter while under sedation & frankly you are not aware of much.

I had another ablation couple of months back under general for fibrillation.

There's a big thread about AF and ablation on here. Have a read through. I was out out for mine - they thought it would take 2 hours but took 4....and a bit. Good luck.
