Opened up old laptop now ill

Basicly an old laptop had a game stuck in the drive and i needed/wanted it out (i am now aware there is a pinhole to release but didnt know at the time)

So I butchered it to get it open and alot of old dust and skin etc inside it which I obviously breathed in. 2 hours later im pretty unwell sneezing and snuffling.
Can this cause it? or just coincidence?
