I’ve had a shoulder injury for 7 months now and although I’ve had several different treatments, and some movement has returned, I’m still in pain and the joint is restricted.

Physios are suggesting it’s a frozen shoulder and should now look to do an x-ray then a cortisone shot.

Has anybody had this done and can offer any advice? I need the shoulder back to how it was ideally, as I do a lot of weight training and downhill mtb so it’s doing my head in not being able to use the shoulder properly,

I had shoulder issues a while back, had two Cortisone shots over a 2 year period and had no further issues thankfully.

Next stage for me would have been surgery, as it was thought to be a bone spur digging in.

Frozen shoulder is the fuking pits, had it a couple of years ago, had a steroid injection which reduced the immediate pain somewhat, came back to a slightly lesser degree, physio had limited success, what did cure it though and by pure luck was sea swimming, took it up and my shoulder health improved beyond recognition.
