If you have one of those smartwatches/bands, what's your daily average for the past month?

Interesting, as I imagine anyone that knows their step count will probably have quite a high one, otherwise, why bother tracking it?

I set my minimum of 12k some time ago and never fail to reach it.

I thought we were looking for the LOWEST step count?

I did 1,819 last Monday.

I did 980 on July 2nd.

Going back and forth to the bog from bed?

I try to get a min 10k steps in, which usually isn't a struggle with walking the dog unless I'm ill or hungover.

I have quite a few really low days like that. I probably do loads of extra steps when I'm working on the car and going back and forth to the garage to get a different spanner, or whatever, but I tend not to have my phone in my pocket as it gets in the way when rolling around on the floor. I guess some are more attached to their phones than I am as it regularly shows near 0 for a day.

Tends to go up much more when I'm away and visiting a new area. I find it very boring just walking around for the sake of it in the same area unless it's for a specific purpose like walking to the shops.

Smallish house and work from home quite often, average improved by weekend activities but usually low hundreds when I'm working.

I average about 8-9000 a day, mostly doing the school run.

On top of that, I also average about 6 hours a week of proper high-intensity cardio, amounting to about 4-5000 calories.

I did 647 Friday and 229 yesterday. Disgrace really but I was just watching telly. My average is nearly 11k for the week. I did run 3x this week and did over 22k steps Thursday at Goodwood so that’s helped. Will go for a run later as well.

Suppose it’s all about balance

Conversely when my back gives me problems walking helps, so I tend to do more walking anyway. Still surprises me that people must carry their phones around with them in the house to clock these low readings...I find it uncomfortable having it in my pocket when seated, so it tends to get left on the side so any steps won't count anyway.

I love how this thread is about the LOWEST daily step count, but it still brings out the ones who want to show us all just how MANY they do though. biggrin
