Mysterious bruise

Been feeling like I’ve had a pimple or bug bite on my left flank near pelvic area only to see a dark bruise. Don’t recall any impact. It’s Slightly tender when pressed on and I don’t have any bruises elsewhere. Should i be ringing up my gp or wait a for a while?

If I found that on me, I'd ignore it and get on with my day.
However, you shouldn't take medical advice from strangers on the internet so maybe go to A&E but you can expect a 10 hour wait.
I think pharmacists might be able to advise after having a look. Maybe play it down so you don't get laughed at for having a hurty knee - say you have a bruise (show them) and ask if they have anything for it because it's tender. If they suggest you get to an oncologist, then you've saved your life. OTOH they may just sell you some Arnica.
(This is not a pisstake btw but personally I don't think it's anything to bother with. PS IANAD!)
