Ok, weird topic, but….

I hate antiperspirant sprays, they gum up arms pits, feel horrible on my skin, ruin clothes.
But i do want something sort of scented for my armpits. I’ve historically used a few ‘body sprays’ that do ok. But they don’t seem to make them anymore.

Most examples of this sort of thing from supermarkets, boots, etc. are just really cheap and awful smelling. It’s either toilet disinfectant smell or school changing rooms smell (you know the brand).

Does anyone make not cheap and horrible plan deodorant - not antiperspirant?

If you're only interested in smelling OK (rather than stopping sweat) then why not just use an aftershave or perfume? Much more choice than the weird smelling deodorants (why no 'u' in deodorant?)

I like the Addidas brand but you can’t get them in supermarkets any more. I too would be interested in a recommendation.

Pitrock seems to work so far as making you not smell of sweat.

Add on whatever you like to make you smell of whatever you like.

Nivea roll-ons are odour-free according to my nose.

Exactly Mark - a few of them are not cheap and horrible smelling, but supply seems to have just disappeared.

This stuff is great:

It might seem expensive but a tube lasts for months. I’ve been using it since 2020 and I haven’t stunk once!

Have you tried all the different antiperspirants?

Because that and a proper perfume/aftershave is going to be better than any deodorant.

No because, I don’t like the ones I have tried, I don’t sweat excessively, the sweat I do sweat doesn’t bother me, and it doesn’t wreck my clothes like the antiperspirants do. I don’t like perfume/aftershave. I specifically want recommendations of smelly stuff that JUST smells that is made for applying to armpits.

Sure sensitive roll-on is pretty much fragrance free and works really well. I don’t have sensitive skin

Try a dab of petrol. Last for ages too.

Probably best suited to non-smokers mind.

He’s looking for the opposite - he wants armpit perfume without antiperspirant, not unscented antiperspirant.

I think fragrance-free is the best option, doesn't compete with anything else you may be wearing.

When I see “Save if you subscribe” on a deodorant stick it really does put me off buying it.

I avoid any products that tries to get me to sign up to a subscription other than broadband and mobile.

OP wants a deodorant that isn't cheap smelling, one with no fragrance fits the bill.
