Had it for a few days now in hand and sometimes feet. Been a bit of pain in fingers and numbness too.

Dr Google says diabetes. Anyone had any experience? I know that I was borderline pre diabetic a couple of years ago. Is it a bit early for it to start?

All I know is its making me extremely nervous and anxious. Will be booking an appointment at docs next week.

Many things can cause pins and needles so see your GP.

For me pins and needles in my hands was the first symptoms of hypothyroidism.

Brother sees it as a sign to go for a massage, then he’s good for a couple of months!

How is your back? Big enough problems causing nerve impingement can cause pins and needles

No, back is fine. The pins and needles tend to come and go but there is definitely a feeling of numbness or something not quite right in both hands and feet.

Just down one side or all over? Is your vision ok?

Mainly hands. Occasionally in feet. But it all seems to have come on at once. I get the occasional pins and needles up leg or on face. But it seems to have changed to a slight numbness now.

Just had a quick Google. I've not got any weakness, vision problems, swallowing issues. Yet anyway

Don't. Go see a doctor. Needs proper investigation.

Definitely a GP visit.

I had similar in my feet and legs a few years ago. It was as simple as a folic acid (I think) deficiency that was sorted with taking supplements for a month or so and tweaking my diet a little.

It may be nothing, don't fear the worst, but don't be a man about it and keep thinking it will get better.

Don't try acupuncture, it'll make it worse.

With me it was a symptom of vitamin B12 deficiency. That can be quite serious, but mine was merely low. Brought on by working in an environment where there was a fair bit of lead dust.
