Not sure if I'm alone on this, but during covid lockdowns and the subsequent period, all my usual meetings/seminars/visits etc through work dried up. Even now, many customers and suppliers are reluctant to have in person meetings or they are not possible for various reasons.

As a result I'm mainly stuck at home with only a laptop for company and I get the feeling my brainpower has stagnated because of it. I have never particularly enjoyed sudoku type puzzles and similar, but I feel the need to do something different to get the grey cells buzzing again. I've been considering a professional qualification, but I don't feel up to 'learning' yet.

Any suggestions or thoughts on things to get started again please?

Try something practical - electronics assembly, woodwork, Lego building, model building etc as these will work the brain rather than focusing on number puzzles if that does not float your boat.

Sounds like you're still successfully doing your job but you don't feel like you are because you aren't physically interacting with people. Any local groups or associations you could join, help to run or chair?

I've recently got strangely addicted to increasing numbers of online games. (wordle, worgle, quordle and nerdle)
