I get dizzy when moving from sitting to standing at least once a day.
I've been trying to keep hydrated and off the beer (through the week) and not a massive drinker anyway.
I have a low(ish) resting HR of about 45 and appear to have "naturally" low blood pressure according to a nurse because every time I have blood taken I pass out. It actually feels like life itself is draining out of me and I wake up being hugged by a nurse :-) with the wife watching on with concern....
Is this something to be concerned about?

When you say 'dizzy' do you mean a spinning sensation or are you talking about feeling light-headed? First one would be like vertigo, second one would be as others have said - most likely due to low blood pressure. Your symptoms are unique - when it happens to me, I don't get hugged by a nurse.I've been trying to keep hydrated and off the beer (through the week) and not a massive drinker anyway.

between a bit light headed and thinking I'm not too far from having to grip something (like a nurse) to keep me up. Probs time to get off to the GPGassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
