The elephant in the room.

NHS at tipping point?

Lockdowns etc affected immunity?

It’s not just here it’s all over. Iceland is near 50%

What do you reckon?

Not sure where you are getting numbers from but according to the actual data seems back on trend to pre-covid levels.

Europe

Only real spike is 0 to 14 age group, which is probably due to kids not mixing normally.

A different issue then. If your figures are correct then how come pretty much all western countries are reporting unprecedented excess deaths?

''EuroMOMO is a European mortality monitoring activity, aiming to detect and measure excess deaths related to seasonal influenza, pandemics and other public health threats.

Official national mortality statistics are provided weekly from the 29 European countries or subnational regions in the EuroMOMO collaborative network, supported by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), and hosted by Statens Serum Institut, Denmark.''

Probably bill gates might have something to do with it or 5g,

Or excess deaths in older and younger spiking due to many factors including not mixing with others to build up immune responses. Poor people dying due to cost of living increase.

What does your data show?

Well 2021, people were still dying, that is clear, but as most recent data shows back on trend. Sounds like a slow news day.

Why no mention of the obvious?

It's winter (which is usually when excess deaths spike) and there's a lot of flu and COVID about. And as a compounding factor everyone's turned the heating down because it's so expensive.

You really embarrass yourself when you say bill gates and 5g. No one has said that. If there is an issue, which it seems there is then it is worth looking at and identifying the cause so it can be avoided in future. That just seems sensible.
Saying 5g etc doesn’t make any problem go away if there is one. No one here said anything about that so you introducing it in a poor attempt to undermine any other argument than ‘everything is fine’ just makes you look foolish I’m afraid.

No one other than some real loons are saying 5g etc in relation to vaccines. There are some people asking if they are as safe as they were advertised. True figures are hard to find so people have their own biases as to whether good or bad, but saying that everyone that asks the question is a crazy person who believes bill gates is doing something or is into 5g and microchips or whatever other nonsense is just trying to tar everyone who is curious with the nutcase brush.

Well I don’t recall what year it was maybe 2018 or 2019 we had a massive flu death count.
2022 we had that nasty 2 week cold spell added to the cost of heating. I bet a lot of people just were too scared to turn the heating on warm enough for them.
No surprise with the winter flu this year being very bad we are seeing the record numbers again.
Oh and as the population increases yearly of course we will see more deaths per annum.

You are misreading the graphs. See how mortality has been above the redline for months?

That indicates an increase that is more than ‘substantial
