Fortunately not me. However I have met someone that has (partially) developed a product that I think could be really useful to help blind people find their way around in unknown and busy places. I’m giving quite some thought to help him finish the product, but as part of my due diligence I’d really like to speak with someone familiar with helping people who are blind and what kinds of tools and products are available these days. Specifically, we don’t want to reinvent the wheel!

I could just phone up the RNIB, but reckon it’s inevitable there will be some people with expertise in this area here.

I asked for help for my Mother on here and someone suggested the local RNIB Facebook group…

Maybe worth a try for you?

I used to talk to the Royal College for the Blind when I was dealing with visual accessibility issues at work, I found them very helpful and practical.

Also, not sure what you have in mind, but checkout the Realsam pocket, it’s a clever phone for blind and elderly …..
