Had this for about 3 days now - just a really severe ache. As the title says, it's where my neck joins my skull. I'd say "uncomfortable" rather than painful really, but it's bloody uncomfortable, almost slightly nudging towards making me feel a bit nauseous at times. No real history of migraine. I've googled and it keeps saying Occipital Neuralgia, although that's described as a sharp stabbing pain, which this definitely isn't.

Sleep has been on and off, I never sleep very heavily anyway, but past couple of nights I've slept a long time (10 hours last night). 62 with no known health issues other than B12 deficiency. I'm due a jab this week, but have never had these symptoms when I'm running low on B12.

Any suggestions?

TIA.

Hypertension headache? Could be worth checking blood pressure.

Have just checked, but it's no higher than usual (I'm usually around the top of the amber sector and have been for years, GP aware).

Was just pottering about in the man cave, nothing heavy, but had to come in and sit down just because it's so uncomfortable. Really annoying.
