I've been spammed by Smirk and price wise for what they say the ultrasonic cleaner does it looks better than TeePee.

Are these a waste of time? Also any risks if misused or used too much?

If they were any good (like oral b electric toothbrushes) the OH would of come home with one from the reps who want them recommended to patients.

We use teepees so save your money towards those and professional hygenist

Yeh, this is what I saw when researching...I think I'll avoid it.

I use a water flosser, as well as going to the dentist not instead, and it works really well. My dentist was extremely impressed by the improvement as soon as I started using it.

Which one may I ask? And do you use twice a day? Only Morning, only evening? Thanks

Waterpik

Every evening, before I brush. Did do it after until dentist pointed out I was washing the flouride away. paperbag

I still use TPs and flossing cord occasionally, but it seems to be the waterpik that makes the most difference for me. Though I think it depends on how gappy your teeth are as to which is most effective.
