Sertraline

I’ve been on Sertraline (100mg) for about 10 months now and am just starting to taper off over a 6 week period on a plan agreed with my doctor.

Has anyone had experience of tapering off? Any side effects?

They’ve been a really useful drug for me with two caveats 1) weight gain has been signed significant 2) sex drive gone to zero!

If you are doing it over a 6 week period the effects should be minimal. But keep in contact with GP if you notice anything and they could just maintain the dose and then start again

I’m a week or so in to tapering off, maybe feel some slight side effects of anxiety but not entirely certain it’s not just me being overly sensitive!
