Calcific tendonitis

Had a shoulder operation for this 7 years ago (after steroids etc didn’t work).

Now suffering the same symptoms again, in the same shoulder - constant resting pain (sleeping is hell) plus extreme restriction in movement (I can move my arm through full rotation, but bloody agony anymore than about 30 degrees in any direction, plus can’t press down with my hand with any pressure.

Is it unusual for it to reoccur in the same joint (I will of course contact the doc).
