Stomach issues
Discussion
Started last week. Had diarrhoea and stomach ache. Felt sick with the stomach ache some days. Very tired in the early evening which is not like me.
Calmed down for a day but this week I've had a couple days of really bad cramps and the switching between constipation and diarrhoea. Also the fatigue in the evenings seems to have got a bit worse.
I'm away this week so will book a doctors appointment but wondered if anyone had any ideas?
Dr Google saying some scary stuff.

Any blood or mucus in your stools? If not then you can calm down a bit.
Have you actually tried to book a GP appointment yet? Most are booking several weeks ahead.
Best get on the case booking it ASAP, you can always cancel if things improve.
Long-term ulcerative colitis sufferer here, so I hear your worries.

No blood or mucas in stools at all. As scary as Google is, everything seems to point to IBS.
Sounds similar to what I get occasionally. Doc has checked numerous times and done faecal matter tests, always turns out to be IBS flare ups. No harm in getting checked out though. I'm on Lansoprazole, but tbh they don't seem to do much.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
