Bamboo Toilet Paper

Don’t know about toilet paper but my underwear is made of bamboo. Would thoroughly recommend.
I have some bamboo clothing too, not sure why they market it as bamboo when its not made from bamboo fibres. They turn bamboo into a viscose/rayon fabric using the cellulose. Guess calling if bamboo makes it sound more eco than viscose. Bamboo fibre cloth is quite robust stuff but you wouldn't make undies out of it.Silvanus said:

Isn’t that imported from China?First impressions on the 3 ply bamboo toilet paper
Not good, it doesn't feel as soft as my regular paper (Cushelle) and basically feels like cheap toilet paper, it also works out more expensive to buy, the only upside is the lack of 'paper dust', I think once I have used the 9 rolls I doubt I will buy anymore.

Interesting, ours is lovely and soft and works out cheaper on a subscription, wouldn't go back to regular shop bought. This thread has reminded me of some college work experience at the Kimberly-clark factory in Barrow in Furness Not good, it doesn't feel as soft as my regular paper (Cushelle) and basically feels like cheap toilet paper, it also works out more expensive to buy, the only upside is the lack of 'paper dust', I think once I have used the 9 rolls I doubt I will buy anymore.

A bog roll subscription??
Well we certainly are in 2022...
It saves bringing it back from the shops when I go and means it cost a lot less in the long run, its also from a company the reinvests 50 percent of its profits into providing clean water and sanitary facilities in places where they are lacking. Does that bother you in some way? Well we certainly are in 2022...

Maybe not if you’re at Le Mans and have eaten some spicy red sausages:https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
