Have been seeing a lot of adverts for this lately, anyone here use it?
Have read a few articles on it and on paper it looks a worthwhile thing to swap over from normal loo paper

Don’t know about toilet paper but my underwear is made of bamboo. Would thoroughly recommend.

I have some bamboo clothing too, not sure why they market it as bamboo when its not made from bamboo fibres. They turn bamboo into a viscose/rayon fabric using the cellulose. Guess calling if bamboo makes it sound more eco than viscose. Bamboo fibre cloth is quite robust stuff but you wouldn't make undies out of it.

Isn’t that imported from China?

The Mrs was subscribing to "who gives a crap" for a while, but I kept putting my fingers through the paper and getting st on my fingers and I assume she had the same problem so we're back on sainos best now.

Not sure ours was bamboo... Just budget bog roll.

We did get an emergency roll wrapped in red paper to bring awareness to the peril of running out of starfish cleaner, which was a nice touch.

Not sure, misses orders it, I know they give half their profits to charity for clean water and sanitary facilties and all their stuff is from renewable sources. To be honest, most bamboo is sourced in China and the far east.

The last time bamboo went anywhere near my arse was when I got caught smoking at school.

First impressions on the 3 ply bamboo toilet paper
Not good, it doesn't feel as soft as my regular paper (Cushelle) and basically feels like cheap toilet paper, it also works out more expensive to buy, the only upside is the lack of 'paper dust', I think once I have used the 9 rolls I doubt I will buy anymore.

Interesting, ours is lovely and soft and works out cheaper on a subscription, wouldn't go back to regular shop bought. This thread has reminded me of some college work experience at the Kimberly-clark factory in Barrow in Furness hehe

It saves bringing it back from the shops when I go and means it cost a lot less in the long run, its also from a company the reinvests 50 percent of its profits into providing clean water and sanitary facilities in places where they are lacking. Does that bother you in some way? confused

Maybe not if you’re at Le Mans and have eaten some spicy red sausages:
