I have a problem with my two front teeth. They point backwards a fair bit, and with an overbite they sometimes catch my lower gumline when I chew things. They then become inflamed and painful when I continue to chew.

In 'FastchasLand' I think I need a small or top teeth retainer to bring the two teeth forwards but only by a couple of millimetres. This will stop them digging into the bottom gum. My bottom row looks perfect.

2 Dentists have said 'No, we will only do top and bottom Invisalign'. This isn't something I want, and yes I know, I have to bow down to dentists' experience and skill/expertise, but are they pushing something that isn't 'that' necessary? I don't want to look like Rylan, I just need the work to bring these two teeth forward by the smallest amount to clear the gums.

My partner is just finishing an Invisalign 18 months treatment, but it's cost her £5-6,000 and it's not something I'm prepared to throw such money at. Her dentist has convinced her to pay another grand for bonding to close some gaps that I haven't noticed but he wants it to be perfect.

If I can sign up for £2-2.5k then I'd be interested.

Any other options?

£5-6k for Invisalign is pretty expensive, and is presumably involving some pretty major corrections.

The 'typical' price is more like £2.5-3.5k, so much closer to your budget. It's no more hassle also having the bottom set of trays than it would be for just the top trays, so it doesn't really make sense to just correct one arch.

Personally I'd just go for it.

After my teeth were totally borked by RN dentists Once I left the Navy I saw a fantastic and very expensive dentist here in Cumbria (Unfortunately he was in a fatal accident and is no longer with us)
I'm sure I paid for his Jag......
I had 2 titanium implants done on my upper incisors.
After years of pain and multiple infections it was money well spent!!
Do it OP.

I'm trying to get my head around how your two front teeth can somehow dig into your bottom gum when your bottom from teeth are present and presumably you have a natural bite on your molars?

As a fully signed up member of the overseas dental work society even I'd resist from going abroad for your needs if your teeth however misaligned are in good order and alignment through braces etc is a long long process. From what I've heard Invisalign should be around your budget but 'cosmetic' dental work pricing in the UK is something even Kwasi would be confused by. Shop around and ask for a reduction to pay all the cost up front. My UK 'quote' dropped £4k if I paid upfront. I didn't, I walked or rather booked a flight.

Not all those who travel overseas come back looking like Rylan or Clunk from Dastardly & Muttley but crowning or implants to solve it removing or cutting into healthy teeth is a step too far in my opinion.

When my molars are clenched together, my top front teeth overbite resulting in them digging into the lower gum because they also point backwards.
If I move my jaw forward so that my top and bottom front teeth meet, then the molars have a gap between them that I can fit my small finger through up to the first knuckle.
