I had this last year and felt unwell for a couple of days afterwards. No such problem with a Covid Jab in isolation.

Has anyone else had a similar problem having both jabs on the same day?

Same here, had them both last at same time and was ill for a few days/week last year. Flu jab usually makes me fell ill anyway. Not having the covid booster this year.

I had Covid in my left arm and flu in my right arm within seconds of each other two days ago.

So far, I'm feeling fine.

Yes and went rapidly downhill for the next week. 1st time for the flu jab for me so I am putting the blame squarely in the flu jab corner. Also had flu like symptoms. COVID jabs were no bother when taken individually.
Will I have another flu jab .... No chance , do one !

Both wife and I had the Covid jab in our left arms 3 weeks ago. We both felt rough for 2-3 days.
We then had the Flu jab in our right arms last Friday, and again felt rough for 2-3 days. Strangely, both arms feel very sore now, even though the first jab was 3 weeks ago!
Given the choice, we'd have both jabs together, to only get one session of feeling rough.

I had both at 10am on Saturday. I was ok(ish) until a bit after 7 and then I started to feel very cold. Shivering really badly despite sitting in a chair with an electrically heated throw rug over me. Only thing for it was to go to bed and pile up the blankets. Warmed up eventually bit still feeling very ropy. Shivering stopped after a couple of hours and hasn't come back. When I had actual Covid a couple of years ago it lasted for days.

Got up in the night to urinate, did that ok (although very little). Then the next thing I knew I was lying on the carpet outside our bedroom door with no memory of how I got there. I had the impression that I had just woken up. I really didn't want to move so I managed to grab my dressing gown from the bannister and bunched it up under my head. Stayed there for a while and eventually managed to get up and get back into bed.

When the alarm went off I switched it off and lay there for a couple of minutes, then sat on the side of the bed for another 20 before I could face getting up. And I realised I must have had enough about me when I collapsed or fainted to have broken my fall with my right arm and hand. My symptoms have improved greatly but I must have damaged the muscle groups involved because they are hurting enough whenever I lie down to sleep to make going to sleep very difficult.

When I had my Covid vaccination a week ago yesterday I was asked if I'd had a flu jab within the previous seven days. I had, on the preceding Tuesday and when mentioned this they seemed hesitant to give me the Covid vaccination but then went ahead with it. Other than a sore arm for 24 hours I felt fine after both of them.

My Nan had this almost a year ago to the day and she ended up having what we think was some sort of reaction to it, had a skin complaint that the hospital thought was Pemphigus and suitably doped her up on steroids which affected her and it turned out not be Pemphigus at all.

My wife and I had our fourth Covid jab and annual flu jab at the same time last month. No side effects.

I'll take them both as soon as they are available, although round here we're getting the flu jabs first because of a supply issue on the covids.
I've had flu jabs through work for decades usually with no side effects, but they have to change the formula each year so things can vary a bit, I expect the covid boosters will be the same.
I've had flu and covid and in both cases they were much worse than the jabs.

My wife and I both got double jabbed Saturday afternoon. We both woke up Sunday with achy arms. She went off to do her daily horse nonsense and I took the dogs for a walk. That wiped me out and it wasn't a long walk be any stretch. I was absolutely exhausted and couldn't get warm, even in bed with her electric blanket on. Spent the day feeling awful whereas she was fine.

Woke up this morning right as rain. So if you do get any effects, at least they're short lived.

80 year old father had both last week, spent most of week shivering and sweating, he then got told by community nurse he had another chest infection (gets several a year due failing health issues) antibiotics then gave him s@@ts for 3 days ffs, my DIY nursing skills had to be dusted off
