Teeth like a 40 year old Fiat !!
Discussion
Hi everyone, some advice please for a 60 something.
I'm lucky enough to be registered with an NHS dentist and had 6 monthly checkups all my life, still hasn't stopped me having a mouthful of metal and a couple of crowns.
However, I lost a large filling couple of weeks ago (no pain), and dentist says it needs a 'complex root filling' not available on NHS ? £900, and then an NHS crown, but she cannot guarentee the integrity of work.
1st question is am I being seen off, and would an NHS extraction plus an Implant be more sensible (she quoted £2500 for that).
2nd question is do I pay cash or what is involved in a dental plan ?? existing conditions etc
Thanks
