Dental implants under £2000 in Surrey anyone know anywhere?
Discussion
Just wondering if anyone out there knows of any dentists in the south who do implants under £2000. One in Surrey advertising from £1650 then when all the other costs applied youre back to £2500-£3000. Another in Surrey offering loads of "bits" worth £500 free but wont quote the actual cost until youre in the chair and you know its going to be sky high then a bone x-ray is another £150, others quoting £3500/£4000! FFS . I dont want to fly to Turkey or anywhere in Europe . So anyone with any recent experience at a decent price please let me know . Thank you in advance .
Good luck trying to find somewhere that will do a single implant for less than £2,500 when UK dentists will charge £900-£1,200 for a root canal which is only one procedure up from a filling!
We seem to pay more in this country than almost anywhere else in Europe, it's a fact of life.
I have several friends who now live in Spain and a registered with dentists for their general oral health. They are not dental tourists and are registered with a practice that treats the general population. Yes it's all private, regulated in line with EU standards (like we once were) and whilst it's more expensive than treatment they received under the NHS in the UK they don't appear to be subjected to high charges. For example a full 180 Deg X-Ray is EUR30, root canal on a molar EUR260. Implants seem routine they say but I don't know the cost.
I add the above for insight as clearly you want UK treatment but it does make you wonder why UK prices are so high. Maybe its because the NHS is by stealth wanting to force dentists into private practice so a lot of what were once cosmetic treatments are now coming to notice of a wider patient base?
