Evening

Woke up yesterday morning with this rash on my inside elbow one side and on the other arm.

Any ideas what it is?!

Cheers

Probably monkey pox? Maybe see your GP?

Yes, I should’ve known better.

Shingles, monkey pox. GP time but if you want to speak to someone sooner pop to see a decent pharmacist.

Just a quick update on the monkey pox… Well a visit to the chemist on Wednesday didn’t help- he wasn’t sure and said could be allergic or fungal. Gave me some cream that made it worse…

Went to the nurse at the gp this morning who said she had “absolutely no idea” what it was and prescribed an antibiotic cream.

Looking a bit grim right now!

Consider yourself fortunate you don't have a pimple on your knee like the poor soul elsewhere on here :-)

Agreed, it doesn't look pleasant but I'd give it a week. Hopefully it'll be gone by then.

I had that a few years back, or at least looks the same.

As mine got worse it got itchy.

Doctors said they didn't know what had caused it, but antibiotics saw it receding within a few hours.
