Gout - I think I've discovered an instant cure
Discussion
I'm in Thailand. I'll have a look at the box and the paper inside. For now I would prefer to keep the details confidential for obvious reasons.
There are lots of herbal remedies available here that are not marketed in the UK.
I'm looking to perhaps market this product in the West/UK. I'm proof that it worked overnight.
Perhaps run a trial to see how effective the product is generally. I wrote to the UK Gout Society and got a rather pathetic generic response. They clearly didn't even bother to read my Email.

Have you any idea how difficult it would be to get whatever it is licensed in the U..K?I'm looking to perhaps market this product in the West/UK. I'm proof that it worked overnight.

Are you by any chance taking other drugs over there?
Are you asking how to proceed to get the knowledge out there for the greater good of gout sufferers or how to create a business around importing and promoting in the west! Either is fine though you will find the latter might be a bit more complex than you would like…
If you don’t want to say what the tablets are, do you know if the active ingredient is prescribed for other things in the West or are they a herbal/natural type thing?
Worth searching for any papers/studies on what ever the active ingredient is on treatment of acute gout/uric acid levels/inflammation/pain relief etc.

So...
I had enough of the UK and have relocated to SE Asia. Thailand in fact. No more Woke and other BS that was driving me mad.
I tend to get a Gout attack once a year and sure enough I started to feel the beginnings of an attack in my big toe joint.
I knew what to expect. Searing excruciating f**k1ng pain for the next few days. Nothing works to arrest the agony save Ibuprofen but some pain and swelling/itchiness is still there and you are immobile until the attack subsides.
I told my girlfriend what was happening and she went off an brought back a box of 10 tablets. She said they work.
With nothing to lose I took a pill and went to sleep.
When I woke the next morning I had no gout! All had gone as opposed to a full on attack.
I decided to see if these pills are available in the UK/West and they are not. As unreal as it seems..
So I'm thinking I may be able to do something here..
They are capable of saving a lot of guys the brutal agony of gout..
Any advice as to how I should proceed?

So much error on this thread.
Gout is usually uric acid crystals coming out of solution in a joint and causing a synovitis or inflammation of the lining. We don't know why, but high blood Urate is linked to it. The kidney is involved. Dehydration is a usual trigger. Food groups are a trigger. Google what the Romans thought about gout.!!
These crystals will dissolve away again with warmth and rehydration and Naproxen or other antiinflammatories will reduce the pain.
Pseudogout occurs with calcium pyrophosphate crystals and is much rarer, this is positively birefringent on crystallography. Uric crystals are negatively birefringent.
Allopurinol reduces the blood levels of urate, but does nothing for an acute attack. Nothing.
Treatment of gout is rest, some warmth (not ice) strong anti inflammatory medicines, splintage (holding the joint still) and very importantly rehydration.
In a severe attack I will inject Depomedrone into the joint, a locally delivered steroid, which switches off the painful inflammation, but it is difficult to use.
If I have a flare up of a disease and I rub an octopus placenta on my scalp before bed, then I wake up without the disease. This is:
A. a nice story and not scientific evidence. It is anecdotal
B. not a reason to start an octopus farm

Now let’s hear about the op’s miracle cure, or has he gone to ground.
