I've had a chest infection for a few weeks now but tested negative for COVID. It started off relatively mild and more or less everyone around me seemed to catch it, however, they recovered within about a week. A few days ago I started with a pain in my chest which got progressively worse.
Yesterday I went to the local walk in centre where I noticed a number of other people with similar symptoms. I was taken for a chest X-Ray and told to contact my GP next week for the results.
Today the pain got worse so I came to A&E and after a while I was told I had Pleurisy. There was a guy a similar age to me, maybe a bit older (probably around 45) sat opposite and I noticed he was clutching his chest. Turns out he too has been diagnosed with Pleurisy. What are the chances?
Anyone on PH been diagnosed with Pleurisy lately?
