I've got CTS in both arms.
For me, and I would bet there's lots of ways it can present itself, I had tingling in my right arm. I was told to rest it. Then it came back, and my left fingers tingled. I had a blood test and low levels of B12 was found (family trait). Then pain all the way up both arms, to the extent that my sleep was interrupted.
Returned to doc and told it was CTS. Told to rest both arms. I bought wrist supports, worn at night. Very helpful for me.
I used to type for hours a day. Not good.
