My mojo for working out at the moment has all but depleted.

Factors;

1. My toddler runs us ragged and has given us a few bugs which in winter seemed easier to work out around
2. Not a gym member since Lockdown so im finding it hot as to work out in the garage etc
3. Golf is my main sport I work out for and Im playing a lot more golf than in winter
4. Job is becoming a complete ball of stress, I really am mentally drained through it

I just can't get any enthusiasm to do anything weights/compound wise it's irritating.

Anyone else had this or am I just becoming a lazy old man?

I don't think you're alone with that. I too have lost my mojo for all things exercise related. At one point I was running 10k three times a week and in the gym twice a week. I was well into mountain biking too and would cover many Ks per weekend on local trails.

A combination of moving house and having lots of DIY to do, two promotions at work to middle management and re-finding a love for an old hobby which isn't as physical meant that I pretty much stopped overnight.

I dropped from near 16 stone to 11 stone in that time and fortunately I've been able to maintain weight (but not shape sadly) during this current drought.

I did collect my bike from storage last night and I'll be working on that over the next few evenings to get brakes bled, suspension reconfigured for a go at some trails on Saturday morning.

If you find a magic cure for rediscovering your mojo then please let me know. I'm starting to look less like an in-form human being and more like a man with the body of a frog with each passing day.
