Over two years on, i still haven't had it. (absolutely tempting fate here). I mostly stuck to the mask rules and had all three shots, but not been particularly bothered about it generally.

One of the kids came over last weekend testing positive and generally suffering with it and was here for to days but a week later i haven't even had so much as a sniffle, so how many have still managed to avoid it?

Any more super humans out there? biggrin

You don't know for certain that you've not had it - you may have been asymptomatic. I had it earlier this year and was totally asymptomatic, I only knew I had it because I was due to travel overseas and the pre-departure test came back positive. Continued to test positive for five further days, all the while feeling no symptoms whatsoever.

That's very true indeed.

I have been testing every couple of days since, and still testing negative at the moment but until there is an anti-body test freely available then we will never know.

I (we) haven't had it.

4 yo in nursery is probably the biggest potential exposure. We have had shopping delivered for years, OH mainly WFH, my work have been very respectful / responsible, and still request regular testing. Past getting messed up on a Friday night, but still seen friends etc.

We have been sensible, but not fanatical about masks, not worn one for a while.

Went to the theatre yesterday so will see what happens!

I haven’t had it as far as I’m aware. My mother managed to catch it a fortnight ago and informed me she tested positive the day after visiting my house…

I tested myself a couple of times in the week after, both negative.

I’m not a social person and mostly work from home but I haven’t been a complete hermit over the past couple of years either.

Not knowingly had it, Moderna FTW. Not sure what the current thinking is on asymptomatic cases, but as an aside flu is something like three quarters of people with it don’t know they have it.

Just succumbed for the first time this week. I suspect cases now are as high as they have ever been, I know loads of people with it.

Me, wife and 2 adult sons. Eldest son has had it, the rest of us haven't, as far as we know.

I've not had it. I'm immuno suppressed and just stay sensible. I also take part in the ONS surveys once a month and get a clear result. Last thing I need is covid.

My partner and I appear to have dodged it so far. Masks in really enclosed spaces and hand sanitised in/out of places.
No idea how we’ve both dodged it!

I know quite a few people who have had it for the first time (knowingly) in the last couple of weeks

Ive got symptoms today/yesterday after a work trip to London.

Nobody wearing masks anywhere including me so it is no surprise if it'll be a negative test tomorrow.

As I've had before if this isn't Covid I really want to know why body aches, shivers, nausea, can't keep awake.

Someone on Radio 4's More or Less today indicated he thought ~90% of people have probably had it by now.

I haven't, and I'd say more than half the people I know well haven't had it.

No, not had it as far as I know - I mean, not even a sniffle. Most people I know have had it, however. Symptoms have ranged from literally unaware (a paramedic who tested positive for her work but had no symptoms) through to the equivalent of a bad cold.

Had it in the first week of April.

Felt tired in a flooring shop Tuesday afternoon (thought I was hungover as I was up late Monday). Had a doze when I got home.

Felt fine Wednesday.

Thursday visited my mother in her care-home. Temperature taken on entry then tested. Got a call in the afternoon saying it was a positive test, so well checked then. rolleyes :Felt a bit tired in the afternoon.

Took Night Nurse capsules and felt fine on Friday and more or less back to normal on Saturday. Stayed at home and tested negative on Thursday.

55, No jabs and my unjabbed wife (10 years older) didn't get anything off me during that week.

If I hadn't tested, I wouldn't have known I was 'ill'.

I was the same up to 15 days ago. I’m testing negative now but still knackered. Can’t even walk the dog without being out of breath. I’m sleeping from 2-4 most afternoons.
Better last 2 days. But still really tired.

I had it a few months ago. Very mild. Had worse colds. Felt a bit tired etc for one weekend then was ok. Wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t tested which I only did on a whim as wife said we had some tests about. Not worn a mask as it’s just theatre. Not worried about getting it again at all. Am a social person, that’s how humans are supposed to live.

It is nothing to worry about.

Not to my knowledge but I never seem to get ill. Early 40s, work involves being in enclosed spaces with new people daily. Never been fussed about germs (yes I wash my hands after going to the toilet) No vaccine. Who knows…
