Anyone got/using one of these:

Any good? Current shaver doesn't really get close enough for my liking even on the shortest setting and the battery (non-replaceable) is now only just about managing to do head and beard in a single charge, it's had a very good innings though. I saw these on Facebook I think and wondered if they were any good, would only be for my head though, would need something else for the beard.

I have the Chinese knockoff version which was around 20

It's OK, actually it's really good for the money...but my trusty old 3-head Phillips is quicker and is a slightly closer shave. I found the large 5-head cutting deck was just a bit too cumbersome, and it didn't really follow the contours of my head or face too well. It was a bit like trying to mow a small garden with a ride on mower
Having tested the water with the cheapo version, I don't personally think spending more would fix the issues I found.

A half decent set of clippers with no guard and a shave will be miles better than that. Isn’t it just a glorified electric shaver? https://skullshaver.co.uk/

I bought a knock off Chinese one for 20.. Worked OK, but you needed to go over parts many many times and it clogged up quickly before conking out a month after purchase.
I then bought a remington one for 60 which lasts longer, can cut through much thicker hair a lot quicker and doesn't need emptying so quickly.
Far quicker and less messy than clippers with no guard which I've used for years (and tended to cause my scalp to dry out and flake too) . Also a much closer shave and can be done in the shower.

I use a Phillips 3000 series wet and dry shaver. Intended for the face but provided you don't go more than a few days, you can skim over in a few minutes and keep things very short. Ingot mine for less than 40 quid in a sale. Batteries last well, it charges quickly and the heads last too.

If your Wahl trimmer doesn't come with the ideal length attachment it is easy enough to source a more suitable attachment on Amazon or Ebay.
I use mine without the guard and its perfectUntil recently I used 1/8" (No 1) but have since gone hardcore with no complaints
