What's up with 'the Old Fella'?
Discussion
Firstly, new username created so I need to abide by the forum's restrctions so bear with me if I can't answer in due time.
I'm 52, 6ft, under 13st, fit, non-smoker. I do drink but not heavily and mainly binge on weekends with the missus.
Up to about a year ago, I was proud of my manhood. Not as big as some but always felt like there was 'blood' in it, as we say. It felt meaty.
Now, it hangs like a deflated balloon with little sensation if I try to stir some interest in it. We have sex probably once a week and TBH that is enough. I get to the point when I really need it but it's getting to be more & more time between intercourse. When I get going it seems ok but could be better, and a little more stiffer.
I have been with Mrs P for 8-9 years, finally moving in together in 2018.
I have a back problem at the moment (suspected muscular from long term PC use!)but not expected to be anything serious. I completed Couch to 5K last year, play golf a little and badminton when I can so I'm not Jabba the Hutt!
Is this an age thing? Am I losing interest (I do enjoy sex with her)or is it simply slowing down?
Should I accept this as 'normal'?

If you have back problems you may have issues with a herniated disc lower down. That can cause lack of sensation down there. Do you ever get any sciatica type symptoms?
Google cauda equina syndrome and act quickly - as in A&E - if you have any suspicion.Aaaaannnd PH in it's normal mode. Honestly it's worse than a hypochondriac on Google sometimes
He hasn't got erectile dysfunction and he's not saying he can't feel anything.
OP, first off, stop stressing about it, that really won't help. Secondly, swap and change things about a bit, not always 0800 on Saturday morning, etc.

Could just be an age thing. I often think sex is mega when you are young because it is all new (and we all looked much better naked!). No matter how good something is, if you do it enough, without variety, it becomes less exciting.
As said, as a first step try something new. A new location in the house for it for example. Essentially just try a bit of variety and see if you feel different then

Actually he does have some sort of erectile problem if you read his original post.He hasn't got erectile dysfunction and he's not saying he can't feel anything.

How are your anxiety, depression or stress levels? That will affect things. Annoying stes at work? Shout at people a lot? Want to punch things? Biting your lip a lot?

Do you get an erection first thing in the morning?
Yes but started to get complaints from the other train passengers.Bill said:

Naahhh, you need to be pretty much paralysed for all that.
It is unlikely but back pain and erectile dysfunction is a red flag.
ETA although rereading the OP it seem the erection issue predates the back pain.
