I've got some bicep tendonitis at both the top end (shoulder) and lower end (elbow). I have full strength but it hurts so I want to get it sorted but do I go for physio, accupuncture or a chiropractor? I've used physio and accupuncture for other issues in the past with some success.

Physio it is.

Do you reckon I can still squat? The pain was most apparent on bench press and curls so I am stopping those for now.

There are quite a large number of free resources for tendinitis, I’d consider doing some research your self.

If you can tolerate some stuff you might want to consider looking into blood flow restriction bands for exercising the arms to maintain some muscle mass. REALLY effective and because of the lower loads it puts a much smaller stress on tendons. Aside from all the usual stuff as well there are a few supplements that can help (as well as a good diet) to encourage healing a bit....10g/day glycine before bed, ensure adequate magnesium (citrate or glycinate are good), citrulline malate can be beneficial too.

I'm a chiropractor, so feel free to ignore though hehesmile
