I’m just using a hold pack and cold pack for the muscles

I see there are tens machine, posture correction , balls, rollers etc etc.

Anything recommended that you use to relief tightness, tension?

This sort of "shiatsu neck massager" feels quite pleasant to use, and doesn't require an assistant (unlike a massage gun).

The main thing is to move and exercise your shoulders, though.

Indian clubs are great for this

I've got an older version of this brand which I find really good, top settings are brutal though.
Works well.

Have you got an actual injury, or do you just feel tight? If the latter, hang from a bar or, if not available, try a bit of downward dog. Also go for a long (30 min-plus) walk

A cactus usually works.
Shove it up your bottom and you’ll forget all about your shoulders.

Crap jokes aside - it’s worth looking into why your shoulders and neck are sore/tight in the first place and doing some exercises to remedy it in addition to any work you do to soothe the symptoms. Loads of info on YouTube. Do you drive a lot or work at a desk.
