Visiting wife's family in Australia right now, flew out last Monday night and been here over a week.

On flight, and every day since, have done a runny poop 3-5 times a day. Never running for loo but can't stop going. Other wise feel fine. Really rare for me... Can't figure it - eating a bit more carbs than I normally do bit that's not unprecedented. Immodium tempers but doesn't stop it.

Any ideas?

If you can, get hold of Smecta.

It’s a natural clay that binds bad bacteria in your gut,way better and more effective than immodium.

Sensible to go to the Doctors in Oz I think. I seem to recall there is a reciprocal arrangement for health care with the UK so whilst you will have to pay something for a trip to the Doctors, if you go to the right centre, you should get some of it back. Best to check in advance.

Thanks

Rob

Campylobacter? I had that once, almost finished me off. Felt perfect in every other way but couldn’t be more than 30 seconds away from a toilet!

Doctor needed a sample to diagnose and once the trips to the toilet finished i had reactive arthritis as a side effect. Nasty stuff
