Look at todays map and you can clearly see the border between Wales England and Scotland.
Surely youd expect virus levels to be similar either side of non physical boundaries
Are there different testing and reporting methods?
Simply a result of the borders within which statistics are reported. So Cumbria will report it's data and Dumfries and Galloway will report there's. The colour is representative of the cases recorded in each. Surely youd expect virus levels to be similar either side of non physical boundaries

If you look on the other tab, they have administered more vaccinations as well…Surely youd expect virus levels to be similar either side of non physical boundaries

Perhaps it’s a lifestyle disease after all.
The map is by MSOA. There are no MSOAs for Scotland, so all of mainland Scotland is one area.
