Look at todays map and you can clearly see the border between Wales England and Scotland.
Surely youd expect virus levels to be similar either side of non physical boundaries
Are there different testing and reporting methods?

I’m pretty sure there are different reporting methods in Scotland; I remember reading an article, which highlighted the differences in relation to politicians making claims about who had the better “record”.

They should map it by political choice. Then we could use a stupidity counter.

Simply a result of the borders within which statistics are reported. So Cumbria will report it's data and Dumfries and Galloway will report there's. The colour is representative of the cases recorded in each.

If you look on the other tab, they have administered more vaccinations as well…

Perhaps it’s a lifestyle disease after all.

It's different because England provides much more granular mapping - zoom in and you can see.

But Wales is green?
Drakeford held restrictions 2-3 weeks longer than England but why Scotland including Orkney etc high?
Hence is reporting the same?

The map is by MSOA. There are no MSOAs for Scotland, so all of mainland Scotland is one area.
