A lot of viruses about just now.

Not really a surprise though is it. Lock people up for the best part of two years with many people choosing not to go out as they normally would even when restrictions were lifted and then restart normal life and bang everyone gets colds and flu etc because they havent been exposed to it for a while.
Just had a decent cold!
Just had a cracking cold/man flu. First couple of days was convinced I'd finally caught covid; runny nose, headache, aching all over, etc... but tested negative every day. Fourth day woke up with clear(ish) sinuses, but very sore throat and chesty cough - still negative. That lasted a few days and now pretty much recovered. Seven days, start to finish.
Chap in office next to mine went down with covid at the weekend, and a few more cases in the main sales office and warehouse. Not as bad as last year when we had 30-40 cases within a few weeks.

In the last year or so, I can't ever recall being so ill. Sinuitus for three weeks (wanted to smash my face off), norovirus, various non-covid19 colds, plus the huge fatigue from two of the three vaccines (Pfizer). Now I am coming to the end of having covid, that's been the most anticlimactic of them all, mild sore throat for 2 days and a slightly runny nose.
Funnily enough,gf,medical professional, took badly after she had booster/ flu jab last November, week later I had same thing, cough, bit flem feel rough achey, since then had it four times, latest started Tuesday ,felt rough yesterday, much better today, never had cold or even felt felt ill for years before this
I actually had blood tests a month ago as I was concerned that since December I've had 4-5 sinus infections (with fever, fatigue etc) that then turn into standard colds.
I also had impetigo/some form of bacterial infection on my face just before Christmas, which I thought was dealt with, until two weeks ago I had a pretty nasty skin infection and am on a pretty strong antibiotic to try and tackle.
Of course, the skin thing isn't virus related, but still it does seem that my immune system is pretty rubbish right now, I never used to get ill. Blood tests all came back fine which is good to know.
Needless to say, with one thing after another I just can't seem to get a break right now!

Pretty sure I've had flu twice in about 5 weeks, and I'm never normally ill, this year has hit different.
5 weeks ago, got what I believe to be flu, spent best part of a week in bed, 2 weeks later I've got covid although that was just sniffles like a cold, get over that and after a week I think I've got flu again, been in bed since Sunday and feel properly rough.
Strange because I haven't had flu for about 6 years and 2022 seems to be making up for lost time!
