Hi,

I have a cloth which is really good for clearing up lenses when dirt arrives, its also good because it absorbs substances like grease, I have to wear moisturising cream so often get grease on the glasses and I need to buy another cloth, but I don't know what my cloth material is called, can anyone recommend a product somewhere like on eBay or Amazon that would be good? I once tried using a standard microfiber cloth however it left like a thousand pieces of material on them... Thanks in advance.

Search for ‘glasses cleaning cloths’. Got some of these from Amazon and they were fine:

We have lots of repeat purchases on Zeiss lens wipes and patients swear by them, and they are on Amazon.
Also a little bit of washing up liquid (but not the anti-bac versions) and a clean cloth (you can wash a lot of the microfibre cloths), but not treated paper products like kitchen roll or tissues as they can scratch the lenses.

I have been using the Zeiss lens wipes for years on glasses, mobile phone & tablet screens. An excellent product.
Bought a box of 200 off Amazon.

Zeiss lens wipes for me too. I have found other brands to be not as good.
