I've all of a sudden developed pain in the tips of my fingers, and the tips of my toes!? I can't seem to find anything online. It's happened literally over the past 24 hours. I can't feel it until I put a little pressure of them, it hurts.

Any ideas from the doctors of ph?

Covid?

Any swelling or redness?

There's no swelling. I had a test a few days ago, after having a mild cold. I had a test done then and came out clear

No pins and needles? Are you generally fatigued? Are you on any medication? How old are you? Bilateral and fingers and toes it is going to be a systemic issue.

I have a little sensation in both big toes, but in none of the others. I've had this for years. Later than I should have done, I did what, if you'll excuse me for being didactic, you should do, and that's see my/your GP. I was sent for various examinations, where it was discovered I had no reflexes in my knees. It's a back problem, one that is progressive and it will inevitably mean I'll lose control of what's below my waist or die in the mean time.

My views on both are unresolved.

Mine started with pain in the tips of my non big toes.

I have 'pins and needles' in the ring and index finger of my right hand. This is due to RSI/carpel tunnel syndrome. It's not viewed that seriously by my GP, although he says the weakness in my hand is unlikely to improve. Treatment is rest and my right arm being disabled during the night. It has been progressive; over 15 years now.

I have low levels of vitamin B12. A symptom of this is numbness and pain in fingers and toes. It can be very serious; my elder brother was taken into hospital after collapsing with it. Untreated it can kill. He has injections every 4-6 weeks and is now symptomless. Tests are being conducted to have it treated via patches.

To put it simply, it might be nothing much, it could be serious. Go and see your doctor.

B12 or B6 were two of the things I was thinking of smile

OP - do you take any supplements? High regular doses of thr inactive/cheap form of B6 (pyrodoxine HCL) can cause those symptoms.

I've got these under my skin. They're on most of my fingers) tips, my toes, and my forehead!?

Putting pressure on them and I can feel a TINY bit of pain. I'll try making an app with my GP tomorrow morning, but it's highly unlikely I'll be able to see him. Ridiculously busy.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Phone 111, it may be a quicker route.

Im sure thats hand, foot and mouth (not the foot and mouth cows get). I had it at the end of last year, same symptoms and exact same skin rash. It came up on my feet also. Cleared up after a few days.

Those look like Petechiae . Many things can cause them from allergic reactions, low platelets, post viral conditions etc.

Definitely would be getting them checked out.

Thanks for all the help. Going to the walk-in to get it checked.
