I have had a medical condition for twenty years - sleep apnoea - which means that I have an annual checkup on myself and my CPAP machine. This is obviously extremely important, as the machines can go wrong and patients rely on them to stay alive.
My last appointment was in March 2019, so we are coming up to the three year anniversary, with no sign of another appointment on the horizon.
Has anyone else missed out on critical medical care or appointments?

No. I had an epileptic fit at the start of the first lockdown. I had several telephone consultations with gp and consultant and even got into the hospital for an mri scan all with no cancelations. All better now and even driving again.

My dad had both knees replaced and bowel cancer reviews all done with out cancelation.

If your due an appointment maybe you need to chase it up yourself rather than waiting for the nhs to catch up with you?
