Hi all!

Ever since I (think) I caught covid back in March 2020 I’ve had weird aches across my upper body. (Although my wife thinks I may have had one before covid??).

Not long after covid, I was digging and throwing the dirt, and I had a pain across my back / shoulder as if I’d ripped a muscle. I didn’t think much of it as I put it down to a torn muscle with doing something I wasn’t used too.

This lasted a few months, then I was working on my car, lifted my arm to an awkward position, and could feel the ‘torn muscle’ feeling as I did this (no pain before). This new pain lasted another few months.

Ever since then I’ve had this pain when I extend my arm up, or back for example, over the last couple of years. It will last a few months, then appear somewhere else. So had both shoulders / arms, neck etc.

I presumed this was ‘long covid’, but I was watching a YouTube car video where the guy said they had to limit working on their car because of a condition causing muscle pain and I wondered if I might be the same?

As background I’m mid 40’s, don’t have the pain in the legs at all (I cycle and typically not used to building upper body muscle!)

Thanks for any advice 🙂
