In Memoriam: Smokehead (/ Tunku).

It is with a deep sadness that I must make what will be his final post on this site on behalf of my father, Smokehead (/ Tunku).
Tunku has, over the past five years, been fighting to hold on with us - his family. However, after fighting his way to spend one last Christmas and New Years with us, he had decided it was his time on the 7th of January 2022. Despite his waning strength, his wit remained sharp and as I understand it, he found no better place to exercise that than here, on PistonHeads, which he once described as the 'cream of sites'. A site filled with like-minded individuals as car-mad as himself. He leaves behind him myself, my older sister and brother and of course Mrs. Tunku, who spent his final days by his side.
As I close, it gives me comfort to know that we have ensured he can have one last ride by having his hearse be his own car; his beloved Mercedes E220d Estate.
